Approach
- Great South is facilitating the process to review the Regional Energy Strategy which was developed in 2011. This review is expected to take 9 months and will require external expert assistance. It will seek to identify and scope geographical locations, initiatives, and regulatory changes required to support the delivery of the future energy in the region
- An independent working group will be established to support the process and strategy development and this group will also deliver the key outcomes of the ‘Beyond 2025 Southland’ workstream.
